Today Is The Day

The topic of World Health Day in 2012 is ageing & health with the theme “Good health adds life to years”. The focus is how good health throughout life can help older men and women lead full and productive lives and be a resource for their families and communities. Ageing concerns each and every one of us – whether young or old, male or female, rich or poor – no matter where we live.

If you were ever looking for a day to change your reality, this is it. Your road to a longer, healthier and more active life is right in front of you. All you have to do is take that first step. An existence that consists of working out and eating right is nothing to be overlooked. It is not a fad nor is it a coincidence that more and more people are getting on the wellness bandwagon. Everyday someone wakes up with the thought of living longer, becoming more active, or eating things that help their bodies. Today is the day.

Be the change that you want to see in this world. Stop making excuses and get “Socially Fit“.

I needed this today. Reminds me that even though I didn’t have a “stellar” workout week, I DID make the effort and we can start again every day. Happy Easter!

I was out for a walk just now, and thinking about how so much of this is about the mind/heart…once we begin to feel/believe in the goodness of our good health, then the eating and exercise fall into place in Joy, rather than from force.

SO glad this blog is here to help keep the momentum!

    • You appear to be in touch with the core of your being, and that’s a wonderful thing. Thank you for the kind words, and we look forward to growing with you.

      Have an amazing day!

I really like the statement that “Good health adds life to years”! Because in fact, anybody can get old…

This is a great message–so uplifting and hopeful. Every day is a new day and filled with opportunity, and we need to just take it! Thanks for checking out my blog, by the way. It means a lot to me!
